Question 1

Why isn't CapitolPulse free?

Accepted Answer

Free trackers show the raw roll-call record, and that's genuinely useful. CapitolPulse adds plain-English analytics, upcoming-vote tracking, and one-click social posts on top of that record — $5/month pays for those tools without ads or selling your data.

Question 2

Where does the data come from?

Accepted Answer

Every bill and roll-call vote is sourced from the official Congress.gov record. We add the analysis; the official record stays the source.

Question 3

How fresh are the votes?

Accepted Answer

Votes sync from Congress.gov shortly after roll calls are published — no hand-entered numbers. Every bill page shows the vote date and the full tally.

Question 4

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes — cancel anytime and you keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. No cancellation fees, no minimum commitment.
